What we see in Goodwood
Goodwood mixes small Victorian and Edwardian cottages with a busy commercial strip along Goodwood Road, so the work here splits cleanly between residential character homes and small commercial fitouts.
On the residential side the cottages are compact, often semi-detached or on shared boundaries, with minimal roof space and original wiring in a good number of them. Party walls are the real constraint — they stop a cable run dead and force everything through the roof space or around the perimeter.
